Denise Guerin is the director, and owner of Kiddie Corner Childcare. Denise holds a child development site supervisor permit from the Commission on Teacher Credentialing through the State of California. Denise has an AA in Early Childhood Education. Denise was a Mentor Teacher for the California Early Childhood Mentor Program for three years, working with college students, interested in Early Childhood Development and Education. Many of whom were responsive and began their own in-home child care programs.
Iris Sanchez brings the addition of bilingual enhancement to Kiddie Corner. Iris is currently attending City College of San Francisco, with an educational focus on business, art and early child education. Iris has worked with children as a sitter, nanny and educational instructor. Iris joined Kiddie Corner in 2021, as a substitute teacher and took over a full time teaching position in 2022. Iris has developed and expanded our Spanish for Toddlers language activities by introducing songs and activities to the program, and introduced new methods of relaxation breathing and mindfulness to our weekly schedule.
Natalie Powell joined Kiddie Corner, in a teaching position, in January of 2024.
Natalie studied Environmental Science and Management at UC Davis. Natalie has worked with children as a nanny, athletic coach, and art instructor. Natalie has taught different art and craft mediums to children and teens, such as crochet/yarn/textiles, painting, sculpture, and mixed media collage. Natalie's teaching style is child focused with an emphasis on the beauty of nature and a child's wonder and curiosity of the world around them.
